Meet your guide at 400 Fifth Ave. in the Gaslamp Quarter. Look for the guide holding a San Diego Crawling sign. From there, your small group will visit four bars located within short walking distance of one another.

At each stop, your guide will share a different chapter of San Diego’s hidden history, from sailors and saloons to bootleggers, brewers and the colorful characters who shaped the Gaslamp Quarter.

You will have time to purchase and enjoy a drink at each stop, although buying a drink is never required. Your guide can recommend local beer, cocktails and nonalcoholic options.

The exact bars can change based on availability, but the tour always remains within the historic Gaslamp Quarter.
